Who Are You and What Do You Want More Of?

Who are you and what do you want more of in your life? This question comes to me every so often as a reminder. It helps me to re-focus and decide where I want to place my focus.

Although I have been working as a counselor with all ages since 1995, I am always doing more research and I am always upping my game. I am always seeking new answers to big questions I have. As my clients accelerate in their own personal growth so does mine. It is inevitable.

I encourage you to continue to ask yourself questions and rely on your best inner judgement. You know yourself best. If you have made a mistake? Correct it if you can, and then pledge to that you will not repeat the same mistake again. Learn from all your setbacks. Accept learning and growth as part of your life course and journey.

The phrase; "every day is a new day," can seem trite. It is very true though. Every day is a new opportunity. If you look at each new day as an opportunity, and obstacle course of sorts? You can navigate your day better, challenges and all. Play out your daily challenges like a game. See which challenges you can face and overcome best, and how. Strategizing makes each day more fun, and more manageable.

You may not always get what you want, but it is more likely you will get more of what you seek when you strategize and plan for it.
